Dear students, alumni, and parents,
My family and I are flying back from our holiday in Edmonton. We are extremely excited to return to Ecuador in less than a week - we spent my sabbatical year in Quito last year from August 2009 until July 2010.
This time of year I always go through my long list of what might go wrong with our plans, but I am reassured as always by calm news out of Ecuador, excellent prospects for good weather, and last minute communications with our tour operator in Ecuador. Of course, part of what makes the course interesting are those things that are unexpected and unpredicted!
Although we will be updating our Facebook page and our website, we plan to use this blog as our primary source of information as the course progresses.
